As a term derived from Latin, the word “university” means “community of teachers and scholars.” Each university is indeed a unique community with its own culture, traditions, and history. These following universities are not only big in size but well-known for their own reason. 

 

1. Dartmouth College

Did you know? The story behind Dartmouth’s color was simple - it was the only color not used by another college.
